This project took place in February 2021. This large food garden area took a week of clearing and consists of raised beds , large compost systems, companion planting.
Training and workshopping was done for this garden that will contribute to feeding the various church members and people in need that the Hope Foundation helps.
The produce is also for sale at Granny’s Attic Shop at the Village, raising funds to support the garden going forward.

We approached Growing Upwards to establish a large food garden at the Village in Knysna to support various projects that the Hope Foundation -supported by the Knysna Methodist Outreach – assists. The garden is producing its first harvest and we are selling some vegetables and also beginning to feed people in need with the produce
